Glen Burrows

Glen is a Senior Recruitment Specialist in our Technology Division who combines structured, data-driven recruiting with a highly relationship-focused approach. Originally from the UK, he has lived in Vancouver, BC for over six years and brings more than four years of recruitment experience across both high-growth startup and agency environments, specializing in technical and functional IT roles. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Music & Audio Technology, bringing an analytical and detail-oriented approach to his work.

 

Glen began his recruitment career in the Data & AI consulting industry with a high-growth startup, supporting clients ranging from emerging tech companies to Fortune 500 organizations across North America. He later transitioned into agency recruitment within an IT & Technology practice, partnering with clients across industries, company sizes, and the full breadth of technology roles. Glen is now part of STRIVE’s Technology division, where he partners with clients and candidates across the IT landscape. His approach is consultative and relationship-driven, focused on creating genuine win-win outcomes and long-term partnerships.

 

Outside of work, Glen enjoys travelling, camping and hiking. With a background in Music Technology, he also has a strong personal interest in music, whether that’s discovering new artists, or attending concerts and festivals. When he’s not exploring the outdoors you’ll likely find him playing video games or catching up on a new TV series.
