THE ROLE
STRIVE is partnered with one of North America’s leading food processing/ production organizations as they look to hire a Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is a forward-thinking leader in the agriculture and production industry, renowned for their commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in delivering financial insights that drive performance and support decision-making across divisions. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys diving into data and translating complex financial information into actionable strategies. Reporting directly to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you’ll be instrumental in the company’s success through robust financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Collaborate with the CFO and FP&A Manager to create standardized financial models and reporting formats, comparing actual results with historical data, budgets, and forecasts.
– Develop and enhance the monthly financial reporting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness for senior leadership.
– Provide valuable insights to departmental leaders through the analysis of financial and operational metrics, helping them make informed strategic decisions.
– Support the strategic planning process with detailed profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet forecasts aligned with business objectives.
– Evaluate costs, including production, labor, and overhead expenses, to identify cost drivers and assess their impact on profitability.
– Ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization, managing and validating large datasets to maintain reliability.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation preferred).
– Minimum of 5 years in financial analysis within a complex environment, ideally in manufacturing.
– Advanced Excel modeling and data analysis skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint and BI tools; database management is a plus.
– Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to turn data into strategic insights.
– Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with all levels of the organization with professionalism and diplomacy.
– Goal-driven, open-minded, and committed to continuous improvement with a high level of integrity.
