THE ROLE
STRIVE Recruitment are currently partnered with one the most well-respected and recognized law practices in Western Canada as they look to hire a Marketing Coordinator.
The client is looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, is detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills who excels under pressure, adapts to change, and delivers high-quality client service. The ideal candidate is self-aware, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement. This position supports key initiatives by coordinating projects, fostering client engagement, and ensuring seamless execution of marketing efforts. The role involves managing various channels, enhancing the firm’s visibility, and building meaningful connections with stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Handling all aspects such as scheduling, logistics, speaker management, technical setup, registration, promotions, and post-event tasks.
- Content Development: Collaborate on creating engaging social media posts, newsletters, and updates for the firm’s website. Develop advertising content for publications like CPHR People Talk, Business in Vancouver, and Lexis Nexis. Design graphics and promotional materials for internal and external initiatives.
- Digital Presence: Oversee the firm’s social media accounts, ensuring timely content creation, community engagement, and responsive communication. Regularly update the website with new content, including profiles, announcements, and blog entries.
- Onboarding Support: Assist in integrating new team members by managing marketing-related onboarding tasks such as website and social media updates, coordinating professional photoshoots, and syncing CRM contacts.
- Data and Analytics: Track and analyze marketing activities, including campaign performance, event metrics, and social media engagement. Manage the marketing budget, reconcile expenses, and produce monthly internal marketing reports. Evaluate trends in data from key programs and provide insights to guide strategy.
- Client Relations: Enhance client engagement through firm-wide campaigns, including the annual Holiday Giving Program. Oversee gift selection, coordinate vendor relations, and create personalized holiday communications.
- CRM Administration: Act as the firm’s CRM expert, addressing technical issues, providing staff training, and leading quarterly updates on system improvements.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of four years of experience in marketing, ideally in a legal or professional services setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and event coordination.
- Comfort with new technology and familiarity with tools such as CRM platforms, website management systems, event management software, and video editing tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong design skills and a commitment to maintaining brand integrity.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments while also working independently.
