Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 plus bonus and benefits

Our client, a global technology company that provides medical management, analytics, and software solutions, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing finance team. THE ROLE
The Accounting Manager position is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing accounting team within a dynamic and innovative company. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function, managing accounts payable, expense management, and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations. The Accounting Manager will also take charge of month-end processes, financial reporting, and year-end audits while maintaining and optimizing financial systems. This role also provides the opportunity to lead system transitions and process improvements as the company continues to evolve.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage the accounting team, overseeing the accounting, accounts payable, and expense management functions
– Take ownership of US SOX reporting and compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations
– Manage the month-end accounting process, including tax and intercompany reconciliations, approval of reconciliations, and monthly journal entries
– Oversee the year-end audit process, including preparation and review of audit schedules, financial statements, and year-end entries
– Maintain and enhance financial systems (Microsoft Business Central, Great Plains, WebExpense), including GL chart of accounts and financial reporting mapping (Oracle HFM)
– Review and enforce established financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
– Assist with system transitions and process updates to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency
Qualifications & Requirements:
– CPA designation or equivalent experience
– Strong experience with SOX reporting and tax processes
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
– Previous experience with financial systems such as MS Dynamics, Microsoft Business Central, and Oracle HFM
– Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
– Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a finance team
