They are currently seeking an Office Clerk to join their team. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and provides an opportunity to work with a vibrant and team-oriented group of people.
Responsibilities
- Delivers exceptional client service to all team members.
- Collaborates with the Office Coordinator on supply orders.
- Manages the unpacking and storage of supplies.
- Ensures the copy room and common areas are clean, well-stocked, and organized.
- Oversees the stocking of copier and printer supplies, regularly fills paper trays, and troubleshoots issues with assistance from the Office Coordinator and IT when necessary.
- Troubleshoots problems with other office equipment as required.
- Works with Legal Assistants and the Office Coordinator to ensure regular file closings.
- Assists with onboarding new employees, office relocations, and cleaning workspaces for departing staff.
- Handles administrative tasks such as filing, sorting, completing documentation, and organizing files.
- Provides reception coverage during lunch, sick days, and vacations.
- Performs general data entry, including updating file management and internal systems.
- Supports staff and client events by helping with catering setup, venue preparation, and post-event cleanup.
- Provides backup support for the Office Coordinator.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or has completed an undergraduate degree program, professional college program, or other recognized post-secondary programs, preferably in administration, legal studies, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in an administrative role within a professional environment.
- Exhibits discretion and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
