The Role
This role oversees finance, human resources, IT, and operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate must have experience with Trust accounting oversight and strong technical skills with Office 365 and cloud-based systems.
Responsibilities
Finance and Accounting
- Manage financial policies, reporting, and accounts receivable.
- Oversee Trust account management, including reviewing bookkeeper work and submitting TAF and CDIC reports.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and audit documentation.
- Handle vendor contracts, tax programs, and compliance requirements.
Human Resources
- Supervise and develop staff, manage performance reviews, and oversee onboarding/offboarding.
- Lead recruitment, training, and benefits administration.
- Optimize workspace layout and performance processes.
IT, Operations, and Projects
- Manage IT systems, vendor relationships, and ensure compliance.
- Develop policies, address facility needs, and maintain safety protocols.
- Oversee marketing deadlines, events, and professional development.
Skills and Experience
- Trust accounting oversight experience and ability to submit TAF and CDIC reports.
- Strong proficiency with Office 365 and cloud-based technologies.
- Expertise in finance, HR, and operational management.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in IT systems, vendor management, and process optimization.
