THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Live-In Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of the property, ensuring the highest level of customer service for our residents. As a live-in employee, this position requires the incumbent to reside on the property, and compensation includes the use of an employer suite. This person will be responsible for the maintenance of a luxurious property in Yorkdale, ON.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform and oversee preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance for the property, including minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Ability to diagnose and repair any residential issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, and other systems.
- Coordinate month-end duties, including pre-inspections and ensuring suites are “rent ready.”
- Review and prioritize work orders, addressing resident issues within 24 hours.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain tools and equipment.
- Manage hazardous materials and adhere to safety protocols.
- Complete minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Maintain service records, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the cleanliness of the site.
- Respond to emergencies and provide on-call duty as needed.
- Foster strong resident relations and ensure satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in property maintenance.
- Experience with property maintenance of high-end residential buildings.
- Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
- Ability to perform minor repairs (e.g., leaks, drain clearing, lighting issues).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to live on-site and handle emergencies and on-call situations promptly.
- Knowledge of routine inspections, equipment servicing, and ensuring building systems run efficiently.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, hazardous material handling, and compliance with building codes.
- Experience overseeing contractors, ensuring quality and safety standards.
