THE ROLE

As a Technical Service/Install Manager, you will be working at various industrial sites throughout the GTA, overseeing the maintenance and repairs of commercial refrigeration systems. This is a great permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys traveling to various sites and working in office, while working for a reputable well-established company that treats you like a family member. You will be given a work truck to travel to different plants to oversee the repair services and preventative maintenance on the commercial refrigeration systems. The position is based out of the office in Milton, but 50% of your time is working offsite. We are looking for someone with 15 years' of experience as a 313A certified mechanic. You will be leading a team of 6 technicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Site visits for measurements
  • Site visits for job progress
  • Oversee technical staff
  • Wealth of refrigeration knowledge
  • Work along side sales for quoting new jobs
  • Planning and scheduling of larger projects

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15 years of experience as a 313A mechanic on commercial refrigeration units
  • Leadership experience is good to have, but willing to train someone with 15 years 313A mechanic experience
  • Working knowledge of safety requirements for the construction industry
  • Licensed tech who has passed C of Q 10+ years
  • Excellent people and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • relevant skills in refrigeration repair and schematics
  • Core skills in HVACR and maintenance, along with premium abilities in diagnostics and brazing,
  • Must have reliable own transportation, G License in good standing
