The Role

Our client is an exciting and leading manufacturing company based in Langley with over 20 years in the industry and they are looking for a Sales Manager.

This position offers a hybrid work setup after the probation period and the ability to be part of a team that values both professional development and work-life balance. This position also requires traveling within Canada and the US.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor, the sales team for optimal performance and growth.
  • Build and sustain strong connections with existing clients to encourage ongoing business and attract new projects.
  • Lead efforts with other departments to uncover and enter new market opportunities, and into new area's.
  • Develop and oversee sales projections and budget plans and provide performance reports to the senior management team.
  • Manage budget adherence by controlling expenses.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure that project teams have the necessary resources to meet growth objectives.
  • Work closely with departments to improve focus and ensure project requirements are understood to increase new business.
  • Attend events to increase the company name on the market.

Qualification

  • 3+ years of experience within a sales leadership position
  • Background in project management would be an asset.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and ERP systems.
  • Ability to be a team player and build relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Valid BC driver's license and passport with the ability to travel to the US.

Compensation:

  • $90,000-$120,000 per year
