THE ROLE
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright for a leading distributor located in Delta. This role is Monday-to-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM daytime straight days. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations as needed on equipment and machinery
- Troubleshooting hydraulic/pneumatic, electromechanical systems and controls
- Assisting in continuous improvement initiatives
- Design and fabrication of machine parts. Other tooling as needed
- Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned by the maintenance leadership team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright designation
- Hands-on experience with Hydraulic/pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Welding and steel fabrication experience
- PLC knowledge is an asset
- Aluminum, steel, metal industry experience is a strong asset
