THE ROLE
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN for an international steel provider located in GUELPH. This role is rotating 12 hour continental shift. They are a growing company and offer their employees excellent benefits along with a good work-life balance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform electrical maintenance including troubleshooting and repair of PLC, drives, and controls
- Assist Key Electrical technician in new electrical/PLC installations, integration, improvements,
modifications and start-ups for the production line and facility
- Key contributor to the preventive maintenance plan as it relates to electrical topics
- Provides immediate support for emergency breakdowns
- Perform other maintenance duties as required for plant operation including basic mechanical repair
- Provide written details of work performed on Work Order forms and other documents
REQUIREMENTS:
- 442A Industrial Electrician License
- 1 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the automotive industry
- Experience in Siemens PLC S7 300/400 is a direct asset
- Able to work 12 hour rotating continental shift
- Proven troubleshooting/technical abilities, excellent communication skills (both written and oral), and a strong “Get it done” proactive mindset
