THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated Aerial Lift Service Technician to join a growing, family-focused company that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. In this role, you will travel throughout London and the surrounding area to service aerial equipment at client sites. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Traveling to service calls in the London/ Surrounding Areas area to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot rental and customer equipment
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on aerial lift equipment (telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, skylifts, etc.)
- Performing accurate documentation of all work performed, parts used, and inspections completed
- Researching issues using manuals and computerized diagnostic tools
- Quoting repairs and recommending solutions to customers
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of mechanical experience working on aerial or construction equipment
- Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)
- Journeyman or Trade Certificate is an asset
- Strong mechanical experience with aerial lifts or construction equipment (MEWP experience preferred)
- Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Completion of a post-secondary program and/or apprenticeship OR 5+ years of mechanical trade experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
