Front Desk Receptionist

The Role

Our client is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join their team in Surrey, BC. Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, the Receptionist will play a key role in creating a welcoming and organized office environment while supporting day-to-day administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and office schedules.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, courier packages, and deliveries.
  • Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Support internal teams with general office coordination and administrative duties.
  • Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Assist with additional administrative projects and ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
