THE ROLE

STRIVE has partnered with an esteemed client in the construction industry. This is a great opportunity to work with a renowned company, a TOP EMPLOYER, and expand your current experience. We are looking for Marketing & Events Specialist who is adaptable and focused for their Vancouver location.

This is a well-rounded role that blends strategy and execution. You would be working closely with leadership to plan and shape marketing campaigns, manage social media channels, create engaging content, and support both internal and external corporate events.

As there are a number of events monthly that also may be off site, access to a reliable vehicle and drivers license is a MUST.

This is a fully in-office position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and grow the company social media presence, including creating and scheduling content.
  • Design marketing materials and branded content using tools such as Canva (experience with InDesign is a plus).
  • Coordinate and execute corporate events, both internal and external.
  • Support the planning and delivery of monthly company events and culture initiatives.
  • Assist with newsletters and marketing communications.
  • Manage printed marketing materials and operational books/manuals, ensuring stock and inventory are maintained for the operations team.
  • Coordinate logistics for larger company events (e.g., milestone celebrations, holiday events).
  • Support events such as:
  • Company Christmas party
  • Large milestone events (e.g., their 40-year celebration)
  • Youth Trade Fair – Building for Tomorrow
  • Internal celebrations (e.g., Lunar New Year, birthdays)
  • Summer “Beer Fridays” (weekly staff events during the summer)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or event coordination.
  • Strong experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Comfortable designing marketing assets and branded content.
  • Experience coordinating corporate events or internal engagement initiatives.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple events and marketing projects simultaneously.
  • Able to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car required for attending events and supporting logistics.
  • Additional design software experience (e.g., InDesign) would be beneficial but is not essential.
