ABOUT US

At STRIVE Recruitment, we are a passionate team of recruitment professionals who specialize in Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Corporate Administration recruitment. We work closely with our clients to find the best talent and with our candidates to help them build meaningful careers. We pride ourselves on being a trusted recruitment partner who values integrity, professionalism, and delivering exceptional results.

THE ROLE

STRIVE is partnered with a large, globally recognized organization operating in a complex, asset-heavy environment with international operations. As they continue to strengthen and standardize their global finance operations function, they are hiring a Finance Operations Analyst to support governance, performance oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives across their transactional finance processes.

The Finance Operations Analyst role is not a traditional accounting role as it sits at the intersection of operations, reporting, systems, and process optimization. The Finance Operations Analyst is a role for someone who wants visibility into how a large global finance function truly operates, and wants to help make it better.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and optimize end-to-end finance operations processes across Accounts Payable and Record-to-Report workflows
  • Review, analyze, and resolve invoice exceptions and transactional discrepancies
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identifying trends and recommending process improvements
  • Build and maintain operational dashboards and reporting tools
  • Partner with procurement, treasury, and accounting teams to improve cross-functional workflows
  • Collaborate with shared services or offshore teams to ensure service delivery standards are met
  • Assist with system enhancements, ERP upgrades, and automation initiatives
  • Support internal controls, policy documentation, and governance frameworks
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, standardization, and scalability
  • Provide analysis and insights to leadership to support operational decision-making

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2–5 years of experience in finance operations, AP, accounting, or shared services
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar)
  • Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and transactional reporting
  • Exposure to KPI tracking, dashboards, or service-level performance metrics
  • A process improvement mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • CPA pursuit is an asset but not required.

Why This Role?

  • Join a stable, global organization with strong leadership
  • Exposure to large-scale finance operations and transformation initiatives
  • Work alongside experienced finance professionals in a collaborative environment
  • Real opportunity to contribute to process improvement and modernization

If you’re currently in an AP Analyst, Finance Operations, Shared Services, or Operational Accounting role and ready for more exposure and impact — this could be a strong next step.
