The Role
Our client is a specialized logistics/transportation service provider that focuses on value creation for companies with complex supply chains. They provide best-in-class transportation in Canada, the USA and worldwide by truck, rail, ocean and air. They were designed from the ground up to address persistent issues in the supply chain and provide nimble, consistent and reliable solutions.
Responsibilities
· Managing an existing book of business (anywhere from 35-40 accounts)
· Following up with clients and re-building rapport on accounts that have either lost traction or are in need of regular attention
· Provide excellent customer service and customer relations
· Communicate both verbally and in writing with clients in a timely manner
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements
· A Customer Service oriented "people person" who has an ambitious attitude
· Account Management experience is an asset
· Strong phone presence with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to be self-motivated and multi-task, and trainable/willing to learn
· Must have ways of thinking outside of the box and improve the quality of service to customers
