STRIVE has partnered with an esteemed client in the architectural industry. This is a great opportunity to work with a renowned company, a TOP EMPLOYER, and expand your current experience. We are looking for a Technologist who is adaptable and focused for their Vancouver location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work closely with Project Managers and project teams
· Be responsible for detail drawings, in accordance with industry standards and code requirements
· Direct production and coordination of documents in collaboration with Project Managers
· Coordinate with other architectural and engineering disciplines as well as external consultants to prepare high quality coordinated documents
· Work on multiple projects at the same time
· Keep up to date on construction practices, products, codes, and technologies
· Review details in documents for conformance with design
· Implement meeting objectives and provide documentation in collaboration with Project Managers
· Mentor staff
· Be accountable for effective coordination with partners, clients, and consultants
REQUIREMENTS:
· Diploma or Bachelors Degree from an accredited Architecture or Technical program
· 7-10 years experience in BC in preparing and coordinating details in documentation for wood frame multi residential buildings (experience highrise residential and mixed-use development is an asset)
· Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
· Thorough understanding of the BCBC and VBBL
· Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to work within a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
· Experience and proficiency with CAD software (Vectoworks preferred) and Microsoft Office. REVIT experience is a plus
· Great critical thinking skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision
· Eligible to work in BC
