Our recruitment team is currently working with a young supplier facing incredible growth located in Port Coquitlam, seeking a Senior Account Manager, offering shift times from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be employed in office for the first 3 months of the probatory period while on training, and once ready to prospect clients, the candidate will be working hybrid at their own discretion.

 

The Role  

Our client is a large successful distributor and they are currently seeking a full-time Refrigerator Operator for their Delta facility. The Refrigerator Operator will be responsible for general maintenance and system checks of the ammonia refrigeration equipment and will be directly reporting to the Facility Manager.

The shift hours are the following:

Sunday-Wednesday 10 PM - 8 AM

Wednesday-Saturday 10 PM - 8 AM

 

Responsibilities

  • Carries out preventative maintenance, temperature readings on refrigeration equipment, and working with contractors a required.
  • Monitors temperature readings, defrost setups, alarm monitoring, writing of SOP’s, maintaining documentation, and general operations of the ammonia plant facility.
  • General preventative maintenance of facility systems, material handling equipment, racking, dock equipment, building automation systems, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Maintains a safe plant in mechanically sound condition meeting Provincial and local guidelines.
  • Assists in ensuring occupational health and safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures including all health & safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements   

  • Refrigeration Operator Endorsement or 5th Class Power Engineer or 4th Class Power Engineer 
  • 2+ years of carrying out preventative maintenance
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing technical and facility equipment
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy objects
  • A strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Compensation 

  • $35.47 + $1.25 shift premium ($36.72 per hour)
