THE ROLE
STRIVE has partnered with a real estate development company involved in developing single-family residential homes and multi-family townhouses across the Lower Mainland. They are looking for an adaptable, motivated, and creative Marketing Specialist/Manager to take the lead on marketing initiatives for their real estate development projects. In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting and executing strategic campaigns that drive brand awareness, generate interest, and support sales objectives. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure our marketing efforts are not only effective but also innovative and memorable.
This role is ideal for a creative, results-oriented marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys tackling new challenges, and has a keen eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales and marketing professional within the real estate development industry, with a keen eye for social media and brand awareness. This person should be organized, and technically savvy, with a proven ability to communicate with staff and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email, and advertising initiatives.
- Work closely with external marketing agency to oversee campaign execution, messaging, and performance tracking.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities to enhance brand positioning and project visibility.
- Formulate and implement strategies to strengthen brand identity and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Support curation and execution of high-quality marketing assets, including photos, videos, renderings, floorplans, brochures, and signage.
- Oversee updates and content management for the corporate website and project websites, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency.
- Maintain marketing schedules, track budgets, and coordinate production timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective campaign execution.
Project Marketing & Sales Support
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies for new and existing projects to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage the relationship with external marketing agency, ensuring campaigns, messaging, and promotional materials are up to date and aligned with project objectives.
- Alongside the external marketing team, coordinate the setup and management of sales galleries, including AV components, interactive displays, graphics, and signage.
- Support the planning and execution of special marketing initiatives, promotional events, and project launches, including attendance at weekend or evening events as needed.
- Receive and process Contracts of Purchase and Sale for executive approval, ensuring timely presentation to the CEO for signing.
Project Management & Administration
- Write and organize project purchase orders (POs) and scopes of work (SOWs), liaising with accounting and tracking budgets as required.
- Oversee production management, including file organization and workflow tracking.
- Fact-check, proofread, and manage deliverables to ensure accuracy and alignment with project timelines.
- Support the coordination of email campaigns, advertising placements, and content updates across digital platforms.
- Assist with general marketing department administration, including meeting agendas, minutes, CRM management, invoice processing, and warehouse organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in real estate marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of real estate development, project marketing, and brand strategy.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for crafting compelling messaging.
- A creative eye for branding, design, and marketing materials.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is an asset.
- Experience with CRM software, Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO, and social media marketing.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits and project-related travel.
