THE ROLE

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN for a leading designer and manufacturer of marine equipment and control systems located in BURNABY. The field service technician will play a crucial role in providing installation, testing, and servicing of the client’s systems and products both locally and abroad (US and internationally).

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Performing installations, servicing, and emergency repairs at client sites

·        Act as the subject matter expert and assist clients with troubleshooting and coming up with a solution

·        Assist in the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of products when not out in the field

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Clean and valid driver’s license along with a valid passport for international travel

·        Educational background as an electronics technician or Technologist certification

·        Strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with both digital and analog circuits along with excellent mechanical aptitude

·        Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
