RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with Project Managers and project teams
Primary:
· In charge of Field Visits and Field Review Reports, including but not limited to:
· Scheduling number and extent of Field Reviews required accordingly to recognized professional standards and contract requirements
· Preparing Field Review Reports
· Insure quality and design intent during construction phase through Field Review Reports
· Be responsible for reviewing and bringing to the attention of Project Managers all changes that may affect design intent or code compliance
· Maintain up-to-date project records
· Implement meeting objectives and provide documentation in collaboration with Project Managers, attending meetings and prepare Minutes as required
Secondary:
· Direct production and coordination of construction documents in collaboration with Project Managers
· Coordinate with other architectural and engineering disciplines as well as external Consultants to prepare high quality coordinated documents
· Review construction documents for conformance with design requirements
· Work on multiple projects at the same time
· Keep up to date on construction practices, products, codes, and technologies
· Be accountable for effective coordination with Partners, Clients, and Consultants
REQUIREMENTS:
· Diploma or Bachelors Degree from an accredited Architecture or Technical program
· 5 or more years experience in BC in the production of contract administration, conducting on-site visits for review, preparing field review report for highrise residential and mixed-use development
· 5 or more years experience with multi-family wood frame construction
· Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Experience with Vectorworks and SketchUp is an asset.
· Thorough understanding of the BCBC and VBBL
· Strong ability to meet tight project deadlines
· Great critical thinking skills with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Eligible to work in BC
