THE ROLE
STRIVE has partnered with an esteemed client in the food service and retail industry. This is a great opportunity to work with a renowned company, a TOP EMPLOYER, and expand your current experience. We are looking for a Temporary Accounts Payable/Office Coordinator who is adaptable and
focused for their Vancouver location.
Reporting to the Controller, your main responsibilities will be AccountsPayable Management, Reception, Customer Service, Office Administration and Departmental Administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinating full cycle Accounts Payable responsibilities
· Liaising with the Accountant regarding weekly cash flow requirements
· Assisting Accountant with Month End reporting items
· To provide front-line personal contact at their Vancouver Support Office
· To provide administrative support & coordination for all departments
· To provide administrative support to the Executive Teams (President and VPs)
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 2 years in accounts payable experience and minimum 2 years of Office Administration experience
· Experience with G/L accounting system
· Experience with basic accounting (cash handling procedures, petty cash etc.) desirable
· Experience in managing banking processes desirable
· Pro-active work approach demonstrating high level of initiative.
· Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines
